Happy Monday everyone!
Last week was CRA-ZY! It was honestly just as stressful as anticipated so you can already assume that I did nothing this weekend. Nothing, but sleep in and catching up with my favorite shows and blogging. So let’s hope this upcoming week is much better than the last.
And on a side note, I was looking through my NYFW pictures from September and it’s making me really excited for the madness to start up again this week! And on another side note…I’am obsessed with Marissa Webb and fell even more in love with her after reading her Cosmopolitan article. Reading about how she came from basically nothing to working her way up to become such a notable figure in fashion was incredibly inspirational and a reminder to chase your dreams and keep pushing forward regardless of how often you get pushed back. Cheesy moment over…but seriously, check out the article!
I’m always looking for staple pieces to build up my jewelry collection. Jewelry is a very tricky thing because if you really want something to be a long term edition to your collection, you have to shell out a pretty penny. So when I came across the Hailey Bow Ring from The Shopping Bag, I was amazed at the quality of it. I love any kind of bow detail and I’ve recently become obsessed with stacking rings so it’s such a great addition to my ring collection and at such an amazing price. I was also so excited to come across this Wear Your Wish Necklace. The point of the necklace is to make a wish and when the heart pendant drops, your wish is supposed to come true. I was so happy to come across this necklace because it reminds me of a bracelet I had in high school. It was a tradition for the junior class to give the senior class a gift and so they gifted all of the seniors a green bracelet with a small pendant that just like the necklace, promised to make your wish come true when the pendant dropped. I love little sentimental things like this and I love the daintiness of it.
Also showing off two early VDay gifts from my mom! The cutest pair of sleep shorts from VS and the most amazing Starbucks cup since it’s no secret I have a love affair with my city.
