Gentle Monster Sunglasses
I have been doing a TON of shopping for my upcoming trip. Like more than I should be doing. Just ask my mom, she is OVER me. But, I did make one teeny little purchase that she is even obsessed with!
My best friend Kyle gave me a pair of Gentle Monster sunglasses a few years ago and they have been my everyday, absolute favorite pair since then. If you look back at my old blog posts, you can see that I used to wear different sunglasses with different outfits, but when I received these, they are all I wear! Through the years they have gotten pretty loose and beat up to the point where they pretty much fall off my face so I’ve been wanting to get a new pair for a while now. And I finally decided to bite the bullet.
I went into the store about 15 minutes before they were closing… so annoying of me I know… but, I was in the area and I really wanted to pop in. The sales associates were still so nice and I quickly ran around the store. I was in between two pairs. This one with silver details called the Dreamer 17 and a slightly larger one with gold details called Her. I ultimately went with the Dreamer because I think the smaller frames were still big, but fit my face better.
I am ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH THEM, not to mention they were able to tighten my older pair so that I can still wear them, which I had no idea they could/would. Plus they mentioned I could pop in anytime I wanted them cleaned or tightened and they told me not to put them on top of my head since that stretches them out which I always do so good to know! It was just such a great experience which is why I wanted to share and Gentle Monster is my favorite brand for sunnies!
Last month, the iOttie team sent me a PR package with a few of their wireless chargers. I rarely get PR packages so I was VERY much excited. Plus I recently got the new iPhone so I’ve been in a very “techy” mood and was excited to try these wireless chargers.
Keep in mind, this is not sponsored and they didn’t ask me to write anything, they were just gracious enough to send me some items, but I have to say, I really love these chargers! I plugged in the charging stand the minute I got home and was floored at how easy it was to use. You literally just place it on the stand and it charges! I know I sound silly, but I’ve never really took advantage of the wireless charging feature so I was excited plus the Apple charge cords wear down so quickly so it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry about a little white wire with this.
Eddie already stole the mini red one from me and loves it. And I’m excited to pack the travel one with me for my trip!
2020 Homemade Calendar
I’m a very visual person and when I plan out content for the blog or my life in general, I like to see a full calendar to get the big picture. So before the holiday break, I printed and made myself a homemade calendar. I pretty much wanted something free, easy and scrappy so that I could just jot down some ideas and I have to say I kind of love it. I jotted down what I wanted to publish and when and it was nice seeing the entire month laid out so easily.
My mom even liked it and asked me to make her one for work! This is the one I used and I love it, the designs are so cute!!
A new year, a new planner!
But, since my budget has been fully vacation focused, my favorite planner I normally get didn’t make the cut this year. I was honestly just going to make another homemade calendar for work, but I found this one from Target for $15 and I have to say again, I love it!!
I’m very picky about planners which is why I’ve stuck with what I know for the past three years and this one fits the criteria and then some. It had a full month layout which I like, cherry on top that it had lines! And then in the week breakdown it had lines which is a MUST for me and plus it came with a bunch of fun stickers and a lot of additional pages for notes. I also liked that this one is bigger and like a full size notebook so I can fit everything I need to.
Ghiradelli Caramel Squares
I wanted to share my current candy obsession!
I love gummy candy and will eat any and all gummy candy, but lately I’ve had a sweet tooth for chocolate. Fun fact, I always keep a bag of fun sized Reese’s in the fridge because they are my favorite and sometimes I just want a piece or two. I currently have Reese’s trees in the fridge! But, lately I’ve been obsessed with these Ghiradelli Caramel Squares. I have one small square pretty much everyday as an after lunch or after dinner treat and it’s so good. The dark chocolate sea salt one is just as yummy as well!

I. Am. Tired!!
This week seemed to fly by, but also be the longest year of my life. At work, we just started our busy period since we are in Fall 2020 adoption which essentially means we are finalizing the Fall 20 line. And let me tell you, it has been busy and filled with late nights and work dinners. On the one hand, yay free dinner… on the other hand, it’s like, I would like to go home please.
It’s been crazy, but I’ve been trying to stay positive and just roll with the punches. Besides I survived this busy week and just have one more week to go before I go on vacation and get to enjoy warmer weather and see my family!!
SHOPPING ADVENTURES
FANNY. FANNY. FANNY PACKS!
Like I’ve mentioned 100 times, the budget and the focus has been on vacation warm weather clothes, which I’ll be sharing more next week and so I haven’t done a lot of “miscellaneous” shopping. But, I wanted to share my current favorite thing and a definite travel essential for me. Fanny packs!
So far, I have this one in a coral/pink for me which was a gift from my best friend Anna and the same one in grey for my mom. Then my mom picked up this one for me which is just so me especially with the pineapples. But, now I want this one!! And since I’ve been loving the trend so much, I’m thinking it’s time to invest in a nicer one and I’m eyeing this one!!
CURRENTLY…
Watching… Four Weddings And A Funeral on Hulu. I saw that the series was created by Mindy Kaling and I ADORE her so I had to give it a try and it is everything I want it to be.
Listening… Panic! At The Disco has been playing nonstop on my Spotify playlist. High Hopes & Hey Look Ma, I Made It are two of my current favorites.
Reading… I’m already on my third book of 2020 which I’m really proud of! Currently reading One Of Us Is Lying by Karen M McManus.

Love Helena’s easy tips on looking put together plus can I please look like her in that camel coat and red Chanel?? I especially love the accessory tip because I feel like I can take on the world with a red lip and my layered necklaces.

UPCOMING
- My new glasses finally arrived at Warby Parker & I’m hoping to get out of work early enough today to pick them up! I’ll be sure to share them on here next week!
- Definitely having a low-key weekend since I have a TON to do before I leave. For starters, I need to organize all my clothes and personal items and start packing that. Most of our luggages with gifts & things for my family are packed so now it’s just personal items we have to focus on. I also finally purchased a new camera to create video content!! I’m so excited to vlog and share it in the upcoming weeks when I return. And then I just have some little tasks I have to complete to just make sure I’m ready to go.
