Little Black Dress

My style is constantly changing. It can be a major change over the span of a few months or a quick change over the span of a few weeks. I’ve gone from embracing the high school prep look with Abercrombie & Fitch to leaning towards a more edgier look to just looking like a hot mess! Regardless of what I am currently embracing, I like to think my style has always remained classic and simple. So, I thought what better way to introduce “L.A Style, N.Y Smile” than with a classic black dress.
I first saw this dress on one of my favorite bloggers, Bows & Depos, and knew I had to have it. So I quickly ordered it from Asos and immediately fell in love. I love investing in pieces (although this dress was a steal!) that are classic and provide me with a blank canvas to style. There are endless opportunities with this dress!
I can go on and on about my love for this dress, but I want to end my first post explaining “L.A Style, N.Y Smile.” I think I gave myself a headache coming up with a blog name. I wanted it to be perfect, I wanted to fall in love with it, I wanted everyone to fall in love with it when they heard it and most importantly I wanted it to represent me. I couldn’t get this name out of my head and once my mom and boyfriend assured me they were in love, I knew I found the perfect fit.
L.A does NOT stand for Los Angeles. In fact, I’ve never been. Instead it stands for my name Linda Ashley. Caught you by surprise there, huh? And of course, I’m a proud New Yorker, so I wanted some mention of my wonderful city and from that “L.A Style, N.Y Smile” was born.
Ok. Enough from me, I rambled way too much, but this is my first post and I’m so excited! Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read! I hope you stick around and embark on this blogging journey with me!

What a beautiful bag! I thought for sure that your blog name was "lasty leny smile" LOL. And hey, I still wear my old Abercrombie stuff (ironically, of course).

    Another Beautiful Thing
