Live Laugh Linda

Happy New Year’s Eve!
It seemed only appropriate on the last day of 2015 to say goodbye to L.A Style, N.Y Smile and to finally welcome in Live Laugh Linda!

I am so excited to finally introduce you all to the new blog!
I’ve been thinking about redoing it for quite some time now. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the design my boyfriend originally came up with, but as my style changes and I grow as a person, I really want my space to reflect that. I also started thinking about my blog name. It was something that I came up with a year and a half ago, not thinking this was something I was going to stick with and just wanting to slap a name on it so I could get started already. But, as my career, my style and myself as a person progressed, it just didn’t reflect me anymore. I was annoyed at how long it was and was embarrassed to say it aloud when it would come up at press previews or events.
Back to the drawing board I went, except this time I went to the most creative person I know for guidance. If you’re a frequent reader, you know Kyle was my old boss at Teen Vogue and my best friend to this day. As I threw ideas at him, he was brutally honest with me, which is what I wanted and needed. And then he suggested Live Laugh Linda and it was what I expect love at first sight to be like.
I am so incredibly excited to ring in the new year with my new space and it is something I am incredibly proud of and excited to see where it goes in 2016. There is not only a new name, but a new design and I officially own my own domain (even if it almost brought me to tears to figure it out, we got here!) and have a fancy schmancy email set up. To me, this is all incredibly exciting because it shows how far I’ve come from my first post with that simple little black dress where I’m sure nothing was linked and there was no design at all.
So before I go, I want to thank my team (basically the group of people I bully into helping me with no payment involved) : My mom for being the best photographer and self proclaimed president of my nonexistent company. The boyfriend for telling me to go away as he figures out all the techy stuff that makes me want to jump out of a window. Kyle, for the new name and helping me caption my insta photos, pretty much for being my creative director and brand manager.
And a massive thank you to all of you for reading and supporting me as I write and produce content for L.A Style, N.Y Smile and for sticking around to grow with me and the newly launched Live Laugh Linda. To really say thank you to you all, keep your eye out for an upcoming giveaway in the next few weeks!
