Happy Wednesday! Hope you’re all having a fabulous week!
I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never been to Dumbo before. I’ve always thought it was pretty from seeing clips of it on Gossip Girl and pictures of the area on other blogs. But, none of the pictures or clips I’ve seen do it justice. Honestly, the views from here are absolutely breathtaking. You have an amazing view of the bridges, of Manhattan and the waterfront. Plus I fell in love with all of the cobble stone streets and small boutiques.
If you’ve ever wondered where NYC bloggers (or anyone in general) take their pictures, it’s definitely Dumbo. Seriously I was amazed at how many bloggers, brides and birthday girls I saw. I’m pretty sure there were a total of three brides, three Quinceanera girls and a countless number of bloggers. It was actually incredible to see how many bloggers I stumbled across that day and even more exciting to see what it’s really like behind the scenes.
If you ever visit Dumbo, make sure to ride the Carousel. It’s only $2.00 and I’m pretty sure I’ve had the time of my life…as you can tell. My boyfriend on the other hand was not as impressed and the horses behind us look terrified…
