Say No to No White After Labor Day

Remember when no white after Labor Day was a thing?
Well if you’re anything like me, white on white is a year round staple and something I fully believe in. Plus seeing as how I’ve worn white all throughout the summer (as seen below) it’s highly unlikely I’m going to stop now. So with that being said, I’m recapping all of the white dresses I’ve worn this summer and giving you guys some ideas on how to transition summer pieces into fall. Because another thing I believe in, is that anything can be worn year round if you try hard enough.

Whether it’s an overall dress or plain old overalls, I can’t get enough of them. I’m definitely looking forward to the weather cooling down so I can start wearing my denim overalls again, but I don’t plan on putting away my overall dresses anytime soon. I think they can perfectly transition into fall by switching out the tee for a long sleeved one, my favorite are stripes and by adding a utility or moto jacket.

Since I naturally gravitate towards simple and basic pieces, I love when a piece has a fun little detail, like the ruffled and embroidered detail on this dress. Because of the added texture on this dress, I think it would look great with a leather or suede jacket, which by the way are my fall weaknesses.

The best thing about a simple off the shoulder dress is that you can accessorize it with literally anything. A leather or moto jacket would look great with this dress and to transition this to fall, switch out the sandals to booties.

Flowy dresses are my all time favorite because they’re loose, comfy and help hide a food baby. I love transitioning them into fall with a long, open cardigan because it gives your look a care-free, fun and bohemian vibe.

Midi dresses & OTK boots is such a fashion industry look and a great way for you to wear your favorite midi dress well into the cooler months. Personally, my favorite boots are from Stuart Weitzman, but if you’re not ready to shell out that kind of money, I linked some great affordable options!

Let’s be real, we’re probably not going to feel cooler weather until October, but we’re definitely going to be waking up to some cooler mornings. I personally love vests, I think they make a great addition to your look and the added layer is perfect for that in between hot/cold weather.

A white shirt and white denim is my go-to year round. I just pair it with a leather, moto, bomber or varsity jacket. But, one of my favorite ways to wear the all white look is with a relaxed blazer or a longer coat.

(Full Post 1 Here/ Full Post 2 Here)I’ve already started to transition this dress into fall! I’m pretty petite and by petite I mean, I probably don’t reach the height requirement on some carnival rides. So when I received this dress in the mail, I was pretty shocked as to how short it was. Definitely perfect for the beach life, but the city life… not too much. So to transition this into city life, I wore it as a tunic over jeans, which would also be a great transition into the cooler months, especially by throwing a jacket over it. I personally love the dress over jeans look. You can even add a belt to your dress to make it shorter!
