Summertime Cool At The MET

I look forward to this post every single year. Sharing what I wore for my annual Mother-Daughter Trip to the MET!

Hello Everyone! Happy Monday!

My boyfriend is heading to Puerto Rico for the next four weeks and I am dog sitting the love of my life, my chubby little chihuahua Kenny, while he is away. He does not like being alone at all. So I am currently have a panic attack leaving him home alone while mom and I are at work. We tried our best to make sure he’s comfortable so we bought him a new massive bed. And left out all his toys in case he gets lonely. My mom even joked that we should leave the t.v on the Disney channel for him so he doesn’t get scared! Needless to say, I’m really excited to head home tonight and have him greeting me at the door.

Let’s Talk Outfit Details

Every May, my mom and I head up to The Metropolitan Museum of Art for a mother-daughter bonding day. We have our routine and schedule that I make sure we follow to a T each year because it’s so important to me. I won’t go too much into detail since I’ll be having a full recap of the day up next week. Anyways, I wanted to wear something that would be perfect for the breezy early morning, warm day and cool summer night.

So I threw on my denim shorts so my legs were all out and about. I paired it with my slouchy sweater and my favorite camo jacket to balance it out. Then added my mules since they are so comfy and we planned to do a lot of walking. And lastly, my gorgeous Chanel bag (which I haven’t pulled out in forever!) since we were going to do a little window shopping and the Upper East Side is pretty bougie.
