Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thanksgiving is by far one of my favorite holidays. I love getting up early and watching the parade while sipping hot chocolate. I love smelling all of the wonderful food being prepared, eating all of the amazing food and of course falling asleep to the dog show after being thoroughly fed.
There are a million and one reasons why this is my favorite time of the year. The lights, the decorations, Christmas movies, Christmas music and most importantly just that feeling you get during this time of the year. The Holidays always encourage me to reflect on the year as a whole and it always makes me incredibly sentimental, but most of all, it makes me incredibly grateful for everything and everyone I have in my life. And since today is all about giving thanks, I wanted to share with you all, a few things in my life I am thankful for…
My Gorgeous Mama
She’s my blog photographer, my shopping partner in crime, my biggest supporter and my best friend. Everything I have and everything I’ve accomplished I owe to my mom. She always has the best advice, the best responses to my daily texts and can make me laugh like no one else can. She encourages every dream and aspiration I have and always reminds me to be strong and to fight for what I want. She’s the most selfless person I’ve ever met and the most amazing person in my life. I feel so incredibly blessed to call someone so strong, independent and overall amazing my mom.
My Handsome Boyfriend
Unfortunately he sucks at taking blog pictures (sorry babe), but he makes up for it in every way possible. I’m at a loss for words writing this right now because honestly there is no way to describe how amazing he is. He encourages my shopping habits, hold my bags when they get too heavy, always sends me a good morning and good night text and always goes out of his way to pick me up from work to at least spend five minutes with me everyday. And that’s only a handful of reasons why he’s the best. But the point is I’m thankful to call someone as amazing as him my boyfriend. I love you babe.
My Little Stud muffin
Call me crazy, but I’m thankful for this little guy. I have always wanted a dog, but with my work schedule & my mom’s work schedule, it does not make sense to bring a dog into the mix. The poor little guy would be alone most of the day, but at least I have my boyfriend’s dog to love. I love this little guy and he’s the best cuddle buddy, napping partner out there.
My New Home
I spent most of my senior year stressing out about the job search. Seriously, I would sit there for hours, stressing myself out about what I was going to do if I couldn’t find a job. Ever since graduating, I feel so incredibly blessed to have been given the opportunities and experiences that I have. I have always loved fashion magazines and dreamed of working for one, but seriously never thought I would be able to even step foot into a publication. So walking into work everyday is like a dream come true and I’m so grateful that I get to live out my dream everyday…definitely makes getting up in the morning a lot easier!
Thank you so, so, so much for reading L.A Style, N.Y Smile! I’m so very grateful to all of you who stop by and take the time out of your day to read my blog. It means so much to me and I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving Day and are spending it with family! I would also love to hear what you are thankful for!
